FFA CORNERS 2008-2009
Hi! My name is Felicia and I am a senior at Chillicothe High School. This is my fourth year in FFA. I currently hold the Chapter FFA Degree.

My SAE consist of mowing yards. I am also involved in other activities in school such as cheerleading. I really enjoy FFA because of all the fun times you have. The cool meetings you have every month, going on trips such as American Royal, and the dances and competition in Barn warming. FFA is really fun to be apart of! JOIN!!!

Hi! My name is Hannah. I am a senior at Chillicothe High School. This is my fourth year in the FFA. I currently hold the Chapter FFA Degree.

My SAE project this year consists of working. I am also involved in other activities at school such as FCCLA, Key Club, and Hunting and Fishing Club.

I really like everything about FFA! I enjoy going to monthly meetings, Barnwarming, American Royal and other fun activities that we have.

Hi! My name is Hannah Hicks. I am a senior at Chillicothe High School and I am in my fourth year of FFA. I currently hold the Chapter FFA degree. I also have earned the silver leadership award three years in a row.

My SAE project consists of my dog Sophie and my job at Hy-Vee. I am also involved in other activities at my school such as Hunting and Fishing Club and skills USA. I plan on going to NCMC after I graduate high school and major in nursing.

I enjoy many things about the FFA like going to American Royal, Barnwarming, and all the meetings. I love just having a great time and getting to know new people, and hanging out with the ones I already know.

Hi! My name is Camie Griffin, and I am a senior at Chillicothe High School. This is my fourth year in the Chillicothe FFA Chapter. I currently hold a Chapter Degree in FFA.

My SAE project has consisted two boer goats, one female doe and one male buck. I showed both of them in the Livingston County Fair and the Trenton Fair. My other SAE project is working at Grand River Family YMCA. The contest teams I have been on in the past were Poultry Team and Soils Team.

I have earned the Gold Leadership Award and Litton Livestock Award. Outside of FFA I am in clubs and activities such as tennis, FBLA, and C-Club. The events I enjoy the most in FFA is Barnwarming and Contest teams because it allows us to meet many new people.

Hello, my name is Zach. I am a senior at Chillicothe high school and I have a chapter degree.

For my SAE project I work for At Your Service Construction and record all of my income and spending of my money. I have worked with AYSC for the past 3 summers and plan on working there for the rest of my high school career.

I am involved in the Chillicothe High School soccer team and track, and I am in the hunting and fishing club, FBLA, and FCA. In FFA we are on teams known as CDEís or career developmental events. In the past 3 years I was on the FFA knowledge team, the soils team, dairy judging team, and this year I plan to be on the agriculture mechanics team.

The FFA has a lot of fun trips such as national convention and what I enjoy the most is meeting new people, especially the girls!

The name is Cindy! I am a senior at Chillicothe High School. This would be my fourth year as an FFA member. I currently hold my chapter degree.

My SAE project was raising swine, now I am babysitting my niece. In the future for my SAE project is to start raising swine again. I am not currently in any activities besides FFA. I enjoy barn warming and American Royal. Barn warming is a dance where FFA members and their date can have a fun and safe night. At barn warming we play games and have a hay tunnel. American Royal is a field trip we take during school to Kansas City and watch the rodeo and a concert!

I participated in the meats contest team last year. We went to contest in Trenton and Maryville. Meats contest team consists of 4 people and study the different meat cuts of different animals. 
Joining FFA was an awesome choice I made my freshman year! It is a really fun and exciting experience.

Hi! My name is Beth, and I am a senior at Chillicothe High School. This is my fourth year in FFA and I currently hold the chapter degree.
My SAE project consists of a mixed jersey cow, which I plan on showing next year at the fair. Activities Iím involved in are band, flags, SADD, CHS Players, Spanish club, church, youth group, and chilli peppers. I enjoy going to Barnwarming, monthly meetings, American Royal, and the CDE contest teams such as the Dairy Food my freshman year and the Parliamentary Procedure team, which made fifth in state my sophomore year. I have also received my gold eagle award for the last three years.
FFA has taught me some very important skills such as leadership, personal growth, and how to get along with friends and co-workers, which has really helped me when I got a job and how to deal with stress in the work force. After high school I would like to go to Southwest Baptist University and major in music education.
Whatís up? My name is Jake. I am a senior at Chillicothe High School. I currently hold the chapter degree.

I plan to attend a four-year college and then attend highway patrol academy or become a sports med trainer.

I play football and wrestle, and I am also a part of the Hunting and Fishing Club.

I really enjoy being in the FFA because I like the trips that we go on and the activities that I attend.

My favorite ag class is Ag Construction. That class allows me to use my hands to build things. It also helped my skills when using shop machines, such as welders, torches, and saws.

Hey there! I am Hannah. I am a senior at Southwest High School. I am in my fourth year of FFA. I hold the Chapter Degree. My SAE project has been swine. My future SAE project is currently undecided.

Outside of FFA, I am involved in cheerleading, basketball, track, softball manager, F.B.L.A, F.C.C.L.A, F.C.A, HI-Step, Student Council, and National Honor Society. I have attended FFA activities such as Barnwarming, American Royal, and contest teams. I would recommend FFA to everyone who is looking for a great time and a great experience!

This is my 4th year in the FFA. My SAE project consisted of hogs and cattle. I am a member of the Hunting and Fishing club.

After high school I plan on going to Trenton for 2 years and then I plan on going to work on the family farm.

Besides FFA I participate in hunting and fishing club and I play football.

As a sophomore I enjoyed going on all the trips and the activities like American Royal and State FFA Convention.

Hello! My name is Tyler. I am a junior at Chillicothe High School. This is my third year in FFA. I also currently have the Chapter FFA Degree. For my SAE project, I raise and show Polled Hereford cattle. I have my own registered livestock, which I plan to grow and make more efficient. I like raising Polled Herefords because it is challenging and helps me learn to be a responsible person. Other activities I participate in are football and wrestling. I also plan to join some other school organizations. What Iíve liked about FFA is Barnwarming and FFA week. Barnwarming was the funniest time of the year and everybody had a blast. FFA week was fun too. We dressed up in funny outfits every day for a week and participated in Ag Olympics. I love being in FFA and look forward to have lots of fun.
Hi! My name is Marc. I am a junior at Southwest High School. I have been in FFA for three years. I currently hold my Chapter FFA Degree.

My SAE project includes approximately 25 acres of row crops and a beef cow. I am also picking up junk iron on my grandmas farm.

I am also involved in FCA, FCCLA, FBLA, Hi-Step, NHS, Student Council and I am also manger for our football and track teams. FFA has a lot of fun act ivies to participate in like Barnwarming and American Royal. I recommend FFA to anyone that wants to have fun.

Hi my name is Stoney and I am a junior at Chillicothe High School. This is my third year in the FFA program. I currently hold the Chapter FFA Degree.

My SAE project was taking care of and showing my pig named ďScruffyĒ at surrounding fairs. Throughout the time that I took care of her, I was able to teach her how to sit, lie down and role over.

I really like the FFA program because the program gave me the chance to own my very own animal. I was responsible for feeding and taking care of my pig. I felt like this experience has made me to be more responsible. I look forward to showing a pig at next years fair.

Hi! My name is Kyle. I am A Junior at Chillicothe High School and this is my second year in the FFA.

My first year SAE project was showing a hog and working for Ron Reeter driving tractors for him and bucking square bales. My current SAE is hogs and working for Ron Reeter. My future plans for SAE is showing a steer.

When I am not participating in FFA activities I participate in hunting and fishing club, trapshooting. I love to participate in all FFA activities like Barnwarming and all the FFA meetings.

The FFA is a fun and exciting way to meet new people and learn about exciting new stuff.

Hi! My name is Marlois. I am a junior at Southwest R-1 High School. Iím in my second year of FFA. I currently hold the Chapter FFA Degree. My SAE project last year was chickens, turkeys, cattle, and horses. My SAE project this year is raising chickens, horses, cattle, and also I have a job at work at McDonaldís. Other activities I am involved in besides FFA are FCA, FCCLA, Hi-Step, NHS, Student Council, Choir, Track, Basketball, and S.C.A.R.Y. FFA is a good experience. We have a lot of trips like American Royal and a whole lot more. We also have a lot of activities like Barnwarming that is a lot of fun too. You can also be on a contest teams. I have participated on the floriculture team my freshmen and sophomore year. I hope this year I will be able to be on another contest team. You also get to meet a lot of people. I would encourage anyone to join FFA it also teaches you responsibility.
Hi! My name is Leanne, and I am a junior at Chillicothe High School. This is my third year in FFA, and I currently hold the Chapter FFA Degree.

My SAE project this year consists of volunteering at Chillicothe Animal Hospital, working at the Wave Radio Station and at the YMCA. Outside of the FFA, I am involved in softball, basketball, track, Student Council, FCA, FBLA, Junior Sorosis Pledges, and Spanish Club.

FFA has been a great experience, and I have really enjoyed meeting new people, Barnwarming, and the trips we have made to the Litton Ag Center. We learn so many new things, all of which we can apply to our lives in order to succeed.

The FFA is a great organization to join if youíre looking for new friends, fun, and a bright future.

My name is Jon. I am a junior at Chillicothe High School and I am a third year member of the Chillicothe FFA Chapter. I currently hold my Chapter FFA Degree. I am one of the 2nd vice-presidents of the chapter officer team. My SAE project has been taking care of and showing my hogs and cattle. I also have added placement to my SAE project working at the Chillicothe Livestock Market, and working for a farmer.

I enjoy many activities that I participate in FFA. I enjoy being on the officer team and going on our officer retreat. Last year I went to the FFA National Convention and I was able to see new things and learn more about the FFA, we also had a great time. Other activities that I am in are hunting and fishing club and wrestling. I enjoy almost all of the things I do in FFA. I really enjoy going on all of our FFA trips and meeting new people on these trips.

Hi! Iím Baillie and I am a junior at Chillicothe High School. This is my 3rd year in FFA. I currently hold the Chapter FFA Degree.

My SAE project for my 1st year was raising a pig. Last year my SAE was my job as a babysitter and also working at Orschelnís. My future SAE is undecided.

FFA has many fun activities such as Barn warming, contest teams and state convention. I made it all the way to districts with my speech. At area banquet I got the Farm Bureau award. I plan to be in the FFA for years to come.

Hi! My name is Jared McCauslin. I am a junior at Chillicothe High School and I am in my third year of FFA. I currently hold the Chapter FFA Degree.

My SAE project consists of 12 head of cattle. I am involved in other activities such as 4-H, FBLA, and Football. Last year I attended the County Fair, State Fair, and the American Royal as an exhibitor.

FFA has taught me a lot about agriculture and leadership.

Hello! My name is Amber. I am a junior at Chillicothe High School and am in my third year of FFA. I currently hold the office of 2nd Vice President. My SAE projects for my first year were mowing yards and showing a boer goat. For my second year in FFA, my SAE projects consisted of mowing yards, showing two Berkshire market hogs, and working at Greenhills Golf Course. In the future I plan to keep my SAE projects the same but expand my number of hogs and increase my income from both of my jobs. Outside of FFA I am involved in many activities including girlís golf, 4-H, trapshooting, archery, Hunting & Fishing Club, Art Club, Spanish Club, Key Club, & Quails Forever. FFA has many fun activities to offer such as Barnwarming, the trapshooting team, and contests. Last year I participated on the Parlimentary Procedure team, the chapter scrapbook, and received a Proficiency Award in grass and turf management. FFA is a great organization to get involved in!

Hi, my name is Matthew and I am a sophomore at CHS. I am a holder of the Chapter FFA Degree. My SAE was working at Woodys, but my plans are to get a job at my friendsí farm every day after school, and to maybe show at the fair.

The things that I enjoy most about the FFA are the classes. I think that itís important to be educated about Ag and Ag related jobs and activities. I also enjoy all the educational field trips. Last year, I got to go to State FFA Convention and I thought it was fun because I met new friends, saw my old friends, and learned about a lot of different agriculture related jobs.

My SAE project at first was raising pig, but I am going to mow and weed-eat yards.

In my freshman year I liked going on trips. I when we went to American Royal because I have never been, and I liked it when we went out to the Litton AG Center.

My SAE project for my first year was showing two markets barrows. My future plans for my SAE projects are showing pigs and getting a job to add to my SAE.

Outside of the FFA, I am involved in SADD. FFA has many activities like Barnwarming, FFA Week, and contest teams. Last year I participated on the Poultry Team and received the Annual Agribusiness Award. Also, my Record Book received gold beginning record book placement at state, and I received the Hy-Vee Award.

Hello, my name is Kelton. I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. I am a second year Ag student and I have my Chapter FFA Degree.

My SAE project is raising and breeding show swine. I own Hampshire, Yorkshires, and X-breed show hogs. I am involved in Football, Baseball, 4-H, Hunting and Fishing club and the National York and Hampshire Associations.

I have attended the Livingston County Fair, the Chillicothe Jackpot shows, Jamesport Youth Fair, the North Central Missouri fair, the Missouri State fair, Barnwarming, American Royal, and many other FFA activities and plan to be in many more FFA activities. I recommend FFA to any upcoming students.

Greetings! My name is Joseph, and I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. This will be my second year of FFA. I am a Chapter FFA Degree holder.

Last year my SAE project was helping my parents on their farm. Besides being in FFA, I like to hunt and fish.

The things I like about FFA are the Agriculture Olympics, getting to know all of the other kids, and learning how to become a stronger leader. In FFA, you get to travel and meet other FFA students from different schools and locations.

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. This is my second year in FFA. I currently hold the Chapter FFA Degree, and I am also the Assistant President of our chapter.
My SAE project right now involves 6 market pigs and 5 breeding pigs. I plan to breed 4 pigs and in the summer show at fairs around Missouri. Outside of FFA I also participate in FCCLA, girlsí golf, SADD, Key Club, Spanish Club, and am the Girlsí Basketball Manager. I enjoy being in FFA because of the qualities of a character you learn such as: responsibility, leadership, and public speaking. You also get to participate in many fun and enjoyable activities. I participated in the knowledge team last year and received the Hy-Vee Award and State Bank Award and also won the local Creed Speaking Contest.

The things I enjoy about FFA are that all of my friends are in FFA and some of the activities I like are the trips, like the American Royal.

Hi! My name is Konner. Iím a sophomore at Chillicothe High School and Iím in my second year of FFA. I have my Chapter Degree and am the assistant sentinel of our chapter.
My SAE project for my first year was about crops and a cow and calf project. This year Iím keeping my crops and expanding my cow and calf herd. I plan to keep expanding my SAE project.
Outside of FFA Iím involved in volleyball, track, varsity basketball cheerleading, FCA, band, and SADD. In FFA I enjoy barn warming, American Royal, and contest teams. The reason is because you are with your friends. Last year I participated in knowledge team, and record book contest.

My SAE project is taking care of bantamís (chickens). In the future I would like to show the at the fair.

The activities that I am involved in outside of FFA are I am a wrestling cheerleading, one of the baseball managers and participate in the SADD club.

This year I am Assistant Vice President. My SAE consists of breeding, taking care of, and showing swine. I also have 10 acres of wheat. I am employed at Davis Farms, and plan on getting another job.

Outside of school I work and am in the hunting and fishing club. Last year I attended American Royal, Barnwarming, and State FFA Convention. I was on the Dairy Foods team and received the Star Greenhand Award. FFA is great!

Hey thereÖMy name is Cheyenne and this is my 2nd year in Ag. Iím currently a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. I hold the office of Assistant Treasurer and am a Chapter FFA Degree holder. My freshman year, my SAE project was babysitting and working at the Chillicothe Country Club. For this year I plan to get a hog or sheep to show at the fairs and get a job. Besides FFA Iím involved in Student Council, FCCLA, FBLA, and Hunting and Fishing Club. Outside of school I help with the Breckenridge Fire Department. Also I like to hunt and fish, and just spend time outdoors. I enjoy going on all the trips that the FFA offers and being an assistant officer. I was on the knowledge team, received a gold leadership medal at camp, and received the Singer Locker Award at Area Banquet. The leadership skills that you learn are amazing!!! My SAE project this year is buying, selling, and raising Percheron horses.

Besides FFA I play football, and Iím in the hunting and fishing club. Some thing I enjoy about FFA is all the fun trips, Barnwarming, and the teachers are really cool.

Hi! My name is Carrie. I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School and I am in my second year of FFA. I currently hold the Chapter FFA Degree and also the office of Assistant Reporter.
My SAE projects for my first year in FFA was babysitting and showing two market lambs. My future plans for my SAE projects are babysitting, showing market lambs, and getting another job. Outside of FFA I participate in tennis, basketball cheerleading, SADD, Key Club and CHS Players. FFA has many activities such as Barnwarming, contest teams, and you can go to FFA Camp in the summer. Last year I was on the Knowledge Team and went to state, and I received the Charles Surber Award at Chapter Banquet. I am glad I joined the FFA!

My SAE is working on my parentís farm. I like FFAís Ag Science and Ag Construction classes.

I like going to the fairs and banquets that FFA goes to. I like the various other activities that FFA has like FFA week.

Hi, my name is Ashley. I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. It is my second year to be in FFA. I hold the office of Assistant Secretary and have my Chapter FFA Degree. My SAE is swine. Next year I would like to show a different breed of swine. Outside of FFA I play volleyball and Iím in Student Council. I enjoy FFA because of all the fun things you can do, like Barnwarming, FFA Camp and FFA Week. I participated on the Dairy Foods CDE team last year. Last year at the banquet I received the Hy-Vee high score award and the Singer Locker Award. I also accepted the Sportsman League Award at State Convention. I hope to attend National Convention and have a great time this year in FFA. Hi! My name is Clark. Iím a sophomore at the Chillicothe High School. I am in my second year of the FFA. My SAE project is crop development. I have 18 acres of soybeans. Hopefully the future of my SAE project will make me a lot of money. I am also involved in the trapshooting team, I plan to participate my sophomore year also.

Last year in my freshman year I had a lot of fun in the FFA. I attended Barnwarming. I also had fun at the American Royal as well as the Chautauqua Petting Zoo.

Hi! My name is Brooklyn, and Iím a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. Iím in my second year of FFA. I hold the office of Assistant Chaplain. My SAE project for last year was buying, raising, showing, and selling swine. I plan to do the same thing this year and my upcoming junior and senior years. Besides FFA I am a varsity cheerleader for our Varsity Football Hornets. In the Spring I participate in Track. Some fun FFA activities that I like to participate in are Barnwarming, American Royal, and State FFA Convention. The contest teams throughout the year are fun to participate in too. There are so many to choose from. They are a challenge but well worth it as your receiving you award. Itís a great organization to be involved in. Hi! Iím Ethan, and Iím a sophomore at Chillicothe High School.
