Litton
Agri-Science Learning Center
In 1998, the
Chillicothe FFA rented a barn on the former Litton Charolais Ranch to give FFA members a place to care for and exhibit livestock. Through donations of time and money, the dream of a permanent facility became a reality with the
Litton Agri-Science Learning
Center. Improvements and new projects continue to expand this innovative learning center in the Green Hills area into a facility dedicated to improving the quality of education and broadening opportunities for area youth.

The
Litton Agri-Science Learning
Center serves all students (preschool-12) in the Chillicothe R-II School
System, students from area sending schools and adults who attend the Grand River Area Technical School, as well as adults in the Green Hills' area who have an interest in farming, agribusiness, or natural resources. The Learning Center
is available for use by all area schools and educators.
