Certification Programs
CompTIA
certification programs are the recognized industry standards for
foundation level information technology (IT) skills. CompTIA
certification programs are known throughout the technology community
as one of the best ways to break into the information technology
field and build a solid career. Leading technology companies like
Cisco, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Intel, Microsoft and Novell use CompTIA
certifications as electives or equivalents to their own
certification tracks. And certification is for life. No expirations.
No renewals.
CompTIA A+ Certification
CompTIA's A+ Certification is an
international industry credential that validates the knowledge of
computer service technicians with the equivalent of 500 hours of
hands-on experience. The skills and knowledge measured by the CompTI
A+ exams were derived from any industry-wide and worldwide job task
analysis. To date, more than 500,000 individuals have obtained
CompTIA A+ certification. Earning CompTIA A+ certificate is proof
that a candidate has a broad base of knowledge and competency in
hardware and operating system technologies.
CompTIA
Network +
CompTIA's
Network + Certification is an international industry credential that
validates the knowledge of networking professionals with at least
nine months of experience in network support or administration or
adequate academic training. There are approximately 135,000 CompTIA
Network+ certified professionals worldwide. Earning a CompTIA
Network+ certification ensures that a candidate can describe the
features and functions of networking components and possesses the
knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and troubleshoot
basic networking hardware, protocols, and services.

Industry
Leaders Require A+ Certification for their Service Technicians
To
improve their position in the marketplace, several industry leaders
such as CompUSA, IBM, Packard-Bell, NEC, and MicroAge, Inc. have
made A+ certification a mandatory requirement for all of their
service technicians. Additionally, more than 100 distributors now
require A+ Certification as a prerequisite to qualify for their
